Cavell Nurses Trust can provide grants to help nursing and midwifery professionals support their living costs like rent and utility bills.

Citizens Advice Islington has trained volunteers and specialist caseworkers who provide free, confidential and independent advice to Islington residents, on a wide range of issues including welfare benefits, debt and consumer. Help for Musicians may be able to help if you are a professional working musician (a performer, composer/creator or directly involved in the production of music, or in work for which the main qualification is a high level of musical training).

Islington People's Rights provide independent debt and welfare benefits advice to Islington residents. They are still providing advice by telephone If you have welfare benefits or debt issues you can call their telephone advice line on 020 7561 3685 on Monday, Tuesday and Friday between 2-4 pm. Alternatively, Help on Your Doorstep may be able to arrange a telephone appointment for you with an IPR adviser. Contact us for more information.

SHINE-PSR offer support to help with fuel costs. All their advice services are live and ongoing. They can support you to apply for your warm home discount, the Mayor’s Warmer Homes Scheme, ensure you are on the priority services register and can access emergency credit with suppliers. Text your name and number to 078 0000 6143 and you will be called back between the hours of 9am and 5pm, Mon-Fri. In most instances, you will be called back immediately. Illegal lending

The Illegal Money Lending Team can support Islington residents affected by illegal lending. If you are ever threatened with any physical harm, you must call 999.
