Octopus community network needs people like you to volunteer and improve the neighbourhood where you live and the spaces you love. Come along to Octopus Volunteer Recruitment fair on Wednesday, 12 June from 12.30pm – 2.30pm at Caxton House, N19 3RQ

Could you help encourage families to get active and eat well? Islington Council is looking for community champion volunteers who are passionate about health and are willing to give 2-3 hours of their time a week. In return you will get free training and ongoing support. Email [email protected]

Cally Festival on Sunday, 23 June is a celebration of everything Islington has to offer and unites over 7000 people from the area. The organisers are looking for volunteers to help set up and support the festival on the day to help make this year’s the best one yet! If this sounds like something you would like to get involved in you can apply here

Would you like to volunteer your time and make a difference but not sure what would suit you? Camden and Islington’s volunteering fair may be able to help. Over 22 organisations will be joining forces and sharing information about roles on offer on Friday, 21 June between 12pm – 2pm. It is a great chance to find out what might suit you!

FCV Dorcas works to combat isolation among the elderly in Islington. Their volunteers support older people living in Central & South Islington. There are many rewarding volunteer opportunities which can also give valuable experience if you want to work in care or community work.
