Continued Support for our 'Connecting for Change' project Help on Your Doorstep celebrates after receiving National Lottery funding We are celebrating after hearing the good news that we have been awarded £391,219 in funding from The National Lottery Community Fund, the largest funder of community activity in the UK. This funding enables us to extend our existing ‘Connecting for Change’ project by another 3 years. We will use this funding to support vulnerable and disadvantaged residents to overcome social and economic barriers through better access to support – something that has become even more important as we face drastic rises in the cost of living. This project aims to support 1200 Islington residents affected by health and socio-economic inequalities by delivering a combination of outreach, direct support, referrals, and strengths-based action planning. This project will also strengthen the reach, collaboration, and effectiveness of our referral partner network to ensure more aligned work in the borough. We sincerely thank The National Lottery Community Fund for its continued support. National Lottery players raise over £30 million a week for good causes across the UK. The National Lottery Community Fund distributes a share of this to projects to support people and communities to prosper and thrive.
