This new role will help us to continue to adapt our digital communications and IT systems to support our service delivery in the current Covid-19 pandemic. You will help to ensure that we continue engaging and supporting the hardest to reach Islington residents around their health and wellbeing. The post has been created with funding from the Coronavirus Community Support Fund  and The London Community Foundation.

Specific tasks will include

  • Taking a lead in ensuring that information about our referral partners, local services and opportunities is up to date and accessible to our staff and local residents.
  • Taking a lead in developing and putting content on our social media platforms and updating the information on our website.
  • Working with the Senior Manager to maintain and develop existing digital and IT systems across the organisation.
  • Working with managers across the organisation on improving monitoring and evaluation systems.

  • 35 hours per week (some flexibility may be possible) 
  • Mostly homeworking at present though the postholder needs to be able to work in Islington, usually at our office at N1 8HX
  • Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum
  • Up until the end of March 2021 with possibility of extension
  • Must be able to start by 23 November 2020 at the latest
