Connect is a successful and innovative service that links local people to key local social welfare services that can make a difference to their lives. Our unique approach involves community outreach in areas with high level of deprivation, drop ins and appointments in local community based offices, supported and tracked referrals to our network of over 120 partner services and ongoing and follow up support to all clients.

We are looking for a community minded outreach and referral Connect Advice Worker with a passion for supporting individuals to maximise their potential. The ideal person will have a good awareness of how poverty, deprivation and inequality impacts on people and local inner city communities they live in. They will also have great interpersonal skills, a commitment to customer service and the ability to work effectively with other service delivery organisations and with fellow team members.

  • 35 hours per week (open to job share applicants)
  • Based in one or more of our Islington offices
  • Salary £26,406 per annum
