We are looking for Community Development Worker to join our Good Neighbours team and work across our Bemerton and New River Green Good Neighbours Schemes in N1, Islington. The overall goal of our Good Neighbours Schemes are for people to thrive, have a good quality of life and live in happy and healthy communities. We focus on the following intermediate outcomes, working to ensure that residents: have the skills, knowledge and confidence to achieve their goals participate in activities that improve their wellbeing have good access to support networks are supported by high quality services are positive about themselves work together for the common good. To succeed in this post you will need excellent communication and organisational skills experience of supporting residents to achieve their goals and improve their health and wellbeing ability to organise, set up and facilitate community events ability and willingness to work flexibly including evenings and occasional weekends.
