Good Neighbours Schemes
We run three Good Neighbours Schemes in Islington
Our Bemerton Good Neighbours Scheme is for the residents of Bemerton Estate, Delhi Outram, Naish Court/ Wellington Square, York Way Court, Tiber Gardens, Julius Nyerere Close, Cowdenbeath Path, Stanmore Street and Lion Court. It is funded by Islington Giving and Islington Council.
Our Kings Cross Good Neighbours Scheme is for the residents of Peabody’s Kings Cross estates and surrounding areas. It is funded by Islington Giving and Peabody Housing.
Our New River Green Good Neighbours Scheme is for the residents of Northampton Street, Canonbury Street, Canonbury Crescent, Walter Sickert, Marquess, Channel Island and New River Green Estates. It is funded by Islington Giving and the Islington Clinical Commissioning Group.
Our Good Neighbours Schemes Coordinators are keeping in contact with residents in their areas and supporting them during the current pandemic. We have resumed some face-to-face activities and also offer goup activities by phone and online. Please contact them for help and support. To be successful our Good Neighbours Schemes need local residents to get involved. They are built on an ethos of co-production and harness the strengths, ideas and passions that exist within your community. Working with us will improve your life and the lives of those around you.
