Help on Your Doorstep is a new charity working towards improving the lives of people living in areas of high deprivation in the London Borough Islington. Through our award winning Connect service, we put residents in touch with the support that will help tackle issues such as unemployment, debt, welfare benefits problems, poor housing, and health problems.
We are looking for an ambitious, diligent and versatile part- time business support manager (BSM) to join our small team. The role will be multi-faceted and span across organisational functions including finance/bookkeeping, performance monitoring/reporting, project management, business development and general administration and office management. The BSM will report to the director supporting day to day operations alongside strategic work streams.
The ideal candidate will have some experience in financial management (including the use of Sage) and will be confident in taking responsibility for a diverse non-financial workload. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate initiative, judgment and strong written and spoken communication skills.
